    Welcome to the TIE Classroom Habitudes book study!
    *All assignments must be turned in by Friday, May 28 so I can submit grades to USF. Transcripts from USF will be available approximately June 25. You can request a transcript by clicking here.*
    Announcements--will be posted each week. Please listen to them before completing the week's work as they may help to explain some of the activities.
    Update 4/21: I deactivated the links to the right and will make them live again as each week progresses to help everyone stay on schedule. You can always get to the pages though by just typing in the page name at the end of the wiki name--for example, week one is http://tiehabitudes.wikispaces.com/1-WeekOne.
    Update 4/22: We will only be using the TIEHabitudes wiki (which you are on right now) for this class. Please verify that you are requesting to join this wiki and not the p21ct wiki which was for an earlier workshop. Once you request to join the wiki, I need to approve your request, which I do as often as possible, but you may not be able to immediately post your information.
    Update 5/12: WikiNote: When saving your file before uploading to the wiki, please include your initials or something else unique in the filename. For example, if two people both create a powerpoint file and name it "CuriosityPoster," wikispaces sometimes replaces the first one created with the second one when it is uploaded. Sorry for any inconvenience with this! ~Kris
    Participants in this workshop will investigate the overarching principles of thinking and performing as a master teacher. Each week, you are expected to complete the readings, viewings, tasks, and/or assignments for that week. We will be using this wiki as the source for all of our content and the location for sharing our work.
    Discussion questions will be posted on the wiki using a program called Nabble. If you are unable to view the Nabble discussion from the link at the right, please ask your technology coordinator to unblock http://n3.nabble.com/TIEHabitudes-f704403.html
    We have a large group for this workshop, so I'm going to break you into three sub-groups for the discussions and the assignments:
    Group
    Last Name Starts With
    Introductions: Please introduce yourself to the group. You can share about yourself using text, a recording, or a Voki! We'd just like to know who you are, where you're from, and a little about your interests--personal or professional. Thanks!
    Here's an info sheet on the Voki application--it was created for a different class, but the same process applies. Just change P21CT to TIEHabitudes. {How2CreateVoki.pdf}

    Grade Sheet for Spring 2010--I will post the list of those who are taking this for credit in a couple of weeks. Make sure you get your USF registration form to Becky Fish. For more information, check the Grad Credit Info page. ~Kris

    {Revision Questions WS.odt} I took the S.C.A.M.P.E.R questions and did a revision more specific to writing. I would use this after having students read an article or peer's work to create revisions.
